Recently, there were new @live.com email addresses being created. It can now be registered by the public. Not sure why, but Microsoft should have released it earlier to prevent any client-side hacking in order to get the address.

Almost one year ago, i got a @live.com via a forum discussion on Aqua-Gero where we talked about Mac Emulation. There was this thread on how to get the @live.com account and i registered myself one account.

Local domain name of @live.com email domain is also available. For example in my country, i spotted quite a handful of people now using @live.com.sg addresses.
