Is your screen gloss or simply matte? Most screens are default-ly matte though.Which is better?

To me, I feel that matte will be more suitable for me since I create designs and on (including for personal printing) and I do not want my screen to affect the original colour. Gloss increases the contrast for whatever is on the screen.

Though so, gloss is good for viewing movies and photos.

And one last thing, no gloss cause I don't want to look at my face as if I am looking into a mirror.

I have both glass and matte screens. I like gloss for images and other stuff and the matte for everything else ... i like matte more personally my gf's lcd is matte and it has amazing colour in it :D
