Everything has taken a new step into the new year of 2008, even before Christmas is here. The new Integrated Development Environment(IDE) sports some new features such as Microsoft .NET Framework v3.5, Microsoft SQL v3.5 and other new toys. The new Visual Studio is expert in 4 areas: Windows, Gaming, Web and Hardware development. This is already probably enough for most developers. This new IDE is totally compatible with Windows Vista and XP which is cool as there'll be less problems switching between OSes. The usual Visual Basic, Visual C#, Visual C++ and Web Developer are open for BETA 2 downloads for public. You can now head over to http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/express/future/default.aspx to explore the products. If you are ready for download, you can click on the download button and start downloading the IDE for your favourite language. More information about Visual Studio 2008 will be updated when I installed the Visual Studio 2008 BETA 2 for Visual Basic and Visual C++. |
