The BETA was supposed to be an closed-beta, which means to say only a group of people can use the beta. Microsoft have been attempting to stop all Windows Live Messenger 9 BETA releases on the internet. One of the website that was requested for closing the release of WLM 9 BETA is Softpedia. Softpedia have been one of the major software download location, but now it says that it has stopped the release availability as requested by Microsoft. http://www.softpedia.com/get/Internet/Chat/Instant-Messaging/Windows-Live-Messenger-9.shtml Quote: Softpedia WLM 9 BETA download site Due to a request from Microsoft, this download has been removed temporarily. However, torrents and other form of downloads for Windows Live Messenger 9 BETA seemed unstoppable for Microsoft. |
