In these recent days, Windows Live and Google have been using their latest gadgets to fight in the market. Eventually, we are still waiting for the next move of Yahoo!. Many similar products have been raised by both Windows Live and Google.

- Windows Live Mail's mailspace quota
- Gmail's mailspace quota

One of them is Windows Live Mail(WLM) and Gmail. Both of the companies changed their quota. For Windows Live Mail, before Gmail started the quota for WLM is 1GB. After Google introduced Gmail with 2 GB, MSN upgraded Hotmail from 1GB to 2GB. However as the market intensifies, both of them changed their quota from 2GB to 5GB.

Similarily you can find Translators on both Windows Live and Google. Another comparable products that both are serving are the two IM networks, Google Talk and Windows Live Messenger. Google Talk targets conversational emails and history whereas Windows Live Messenger talks about connecting millions together.

More products of Google can be found at http://www.google.com/intl/en/options/ and for more products of Windows Live, find it at http://get.live.com/wl/

RE: Intensity between Windows Live and Google on the web
I'll still prefer Google, after all Google is one widely-known for starting the "increased storage" trend, and their interface is nice and simple.

Unlike (Microsoft)Windows Live, they have changed interface for countless times(and not always good), and even change names and now they want to copy people.

I think the only thing that Live beats Google hands-down is for the Messenger part. Google Talk has done well by integrating into GMail and on, but after all Messenger has already gained its own fanbase and they are more constantly into adding more features and improving the interface.
